Use this database as a starting point for your research. Look at categories and tags that have similarities to your novels (I recommend choosing comps that are under the same age category as your novel), then read the books before you decide whether they are fitting comps. Note that many novels fall under more than one genre; for example, a book could be both dark and epic fantasy. Instead of duplicating the titles under both genres, I chose the genre that I thought best matched the book’s summary, and then I added the other genre as a tag.
